The Farm

The farm, La Fattoria, involved in both the arable and livestock sectors for generations, has been transformed over the last few years into an Organic farm out of respect not only for the natural environment which hosts us, but also for the traditional farming culture of the Upper Tiber hillside. For this reason we cultivate our 70 hectares of land without using chemicals, we raise our livestock purely on the produce from the land, reaping the fruit of our labours without destroying or polluting that which surrounds us.

The products

As such, our woodlands and pastures become a natural refuge for many wild animals such as wild boar, fallow deer, roe deer, hare, geese, duck, and various types of bird.

From the land we draw our force, that same force provides for our table: almost all the basic ingredients needed to create the most basic to the most sophisticated menu are produced on the farm, where we cultivate vegetables, sunflowers, feed, cereals, olives, vines, fruit trees, sweet chestnut, grazing and deciduous woodland, providing every year the firewood necessary for the numerous fireplaces of the Fattoria, as well as prestigious harvests such as mushrooms and truffles.

All the animals of the Fattoria are raised on our own feed, and our standard produce includes oil, wine, vegetables, jams, marmalade and honey, all completely organic.
